Primeras jornadas de pesca - First flyfishing days.

Como sucede en cada año, en el inicio de temporada, el agua esta aun muy fría, los ríos bajan muy altos y los peces están escondidos y poco activos.

Es entonces cuando los pescadores nos tapamos los ojos y corremos sin pensarlo hacia los ríos para encontrarnos con nuestras amigas las pintonas ( al menos lo intentamos).

Y es ahí, cuando para sacar alguna captura, nos llevamos algún que otro disgusto y pensamos que en el primer lance nos va a salir premio, pero por desgracia no suele ser así.

Las truchas están escondidas y resguardadas de los fuertes torrentes de agua, que baja tan fría que parecen cuchillos de hielo en cuanto entramos en contacto con ella.

La nieve de las montañas se va convirtiendo en agua y esto es lo que genera todo el fenómeno de enfriamiento y subida del nivel del agua, junto con las tormentas entrantes de primavera.

La modalidad de pesca (dentro de la pesca con mosca) predominante a principios de campaña, suele ser la pesca con ninfa, imitaciones bien lastradas para llegar con facilidad al fondo del río y poder pasarle la mosca por la boca al pez.

Bien sean perdigones, ninfas de ephemera, pupas de tricoptero, etc

En mi opinión son imprescindibles las imitaciones de pupa de tricoptero en pelo de oreja de liebre, que siempre se pueden acompañar de algún perdigón en menor tamaño y funcionan muy bien.

Pero toda insistencia tiene su recompensa, y después de buscar esa soñada captura durante los largos meses de veda, esa truha pica, y cuando la tienes a la otra punta del sedal, lo único que tienes en la cabeza es : Por dios que no se me suelte!

Los ojos se salen de las orvitas, las piernas se agarrotan y estan en tension, la boca abierta y el corazón palpitando a mil por hora( todo esto multiplicado por 100 si llevas un terminal del 0'08 mm) , y una vez la trucha entra en la sacadera, todo esto se transforma en euforia , gritos de alegría y saltos de emoción, tenemos en nuestras manos esa preciosa trucha que hemos soñado tantas noches y ahora podemos disfrutar de ella por unos cortos segundos pero que los recordaremos durante toda la temporada. Truchas de esas que te esbozan una sonrisa que tarda muchos días en marcharse.
