Acondicionamiento frezaderos 2014, voluntarios, pescadores y con la ayuda y apoyo de AEMS Ríos con vida Aragón.
Ahora que llega el mes de noviembre, es cuando las truchas entran en la fase de freza y buscan los sitios con las mejores características para posar sus huevos.
Estos sitios son aquellos que disponen de un nivel de agua de más menos 40/50 cm, no debe ser una zona ni con mucha corriente ni aguas paradas (corriente suave), debe ser un agua oxigenada y limpia y que tenga sus horas de sol al día, también debe tener zonas próximas con algas o algun escondite, para que puedan esconderse en caso de peligro.
Y lo más inportante para el éxito de la freza es que el suelo disponga de abundante grava, piedras sueltas que no deben tener un tamaño excesivo, para que prosperen los huevos posados, debe fluir el agua y que circule el oxígeno entre las piedras.
Y esto último es lo que intentamos mejorar en los ultimos años, ya que en la mayoría de los ríos no se dan suficientes riadas para remover bien el suelo y haya una gran cantidad de grava de calidad.
Mediante rastrillos , mazos y barrones de hierro lo que intentamos es romper la capa del fondo, que se encuentra colmatada de sedimentos que por si mismo el agua no puede romper y cubre toda la grava suelta del río, se apartan la mayoría de piedras de gran tamaño y se remueve con los rastrillos hasta tener un grosor de grava aceptable.
Las repoblaciones en algunos casos, desgraciadamente, es la única solución, pero en ríos con reproductores de calidad y con un poco de colaboracion y movilización ciudadana, que mejor que ayudar a nuestras truchas a que crien por ellas solas en el río.
Sin duda una solución (comprobadamebte útil y efectiva) de futuro para nuestros ríos.
